Consider the Lilies includes seventy poems based on Luke 12:27 (ESV), when Jesus says, "Consider the Lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." As an Author and Bible Teacher, Laynie hopes that this book gives us a reason to pause, to reflect, and to consider all that God has created and meditate on the beauty of life and feeling. All pictures were taken by the talented photographer Becky Horton who helped Laynie reveal the many meanings and perspectives of the poems and make them a visual delight.
